“Travel through time” Summer Workshops for children
The Museum will host arts and craft summer workshops inspired by the Museum’s main and temporary exhibitions from 29th July until 2nd August.
Over the five days the children will have fun creating their own historical masterpieces while learning about life in Ireland, from the Vikings to World War Two.
They will make their own weapons and pendants, treasure chests, write secret messages in invisible ink and build their own theatre, complete with a cast of puppets and even meet characters from history.
The workshops will take place from 11.am – 1pm. You can pay a daily rate of £2.50 or £10 for all five. Numbers are limited to 20 and children must be aged 7 and older.
Parents are encouraged to stay, but it is not essential. Children must be dressed for mess. If you intend to leave your child please fill the attached registration leaflet and return it to the Museum.
If you wish to book or you require more information please telephone 028 3031 3178.
