Mephedrone found after car search

Police in Kilkeel recovered a quantity of suspected mephedrone after stopping a car on Leestone Road.

During the early hours of Saturday, 15th June, officers on patrol observed a Peugeot car travelling at speed.

Officers stopped the car and conducted a search where a small bag of mephedrone was seized.

A 19 year old male was interviewed and will be reported to the PPS.
