Doran welcomes road resurfacing

Councillor Sean Doran has welcomed the resurfacing of roads in three estates in the Kilkeel area recently.

The Sinn Féin representative said, “I have been lobbying on behalf of residents in the Bartley Park, Forth View Avenue and Melrose Park areas to have these roads resurfaced as they had deteriorated badly due to recent bad weather.

“This work has vastly improved the state of the roads in these estates and have made it safer for all users.

He added, “I would like to thank Roads Service for carrying out this work and for their ongoing assistance in improving the roads for the residents in the Kilkeel area.”
