Police charge man with immigration offence

Detectives in Newry have charged a 21 year old man with the immigration offence of overstaying leave to remain in the UK.

He  has also been charged with possession of Class A drugs and appeared before Newry Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 11th April.

He was arrested with three others, a 21 year old female, 38 year old male and 42 year old male, in the Camlough area during the early hours of Thursday, 11th April.

The three others have been passed on to UK Borders Agency.
