Police look to recover items stolen from woman’s handbag

Police in Newry are appealing for assistance from the public to locate items believed to have been stolen from a handbag on Tuesday, 19th March. Sometime between 9am and 10am it is reported that a British passport, a sum of cash and a rose gold Michael Kor watch were taken from the handbag of a female as she walked between The Quays and Buttercrane Centre. Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to the theft or whereabouts of these items to contact them in Ardmore on 0845 600 8000.
