Teen suffers facial injuries after city centre group attack

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an assault in the city centre.

At around 5.40pm on Friday, 5th April, a 17 year old boy was assaulted by a group of five other youths (three boys and two girls) close to Newry Bus Depot/Needham Bridge.

The teenager sustained facial injuries and an injury to his arm.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the attack or has information in relation to this incident to contact them in Ardmore Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
