Buttercrane adds its Street Smarts to Newry Style City

As a main sponsor of Newry Style City, Buttercrane Centre will be taking part in many of its activities but the shopping centre, with its 50+ stores, will also be adding two fashion shows of its own into the programme’s mix.

Peter Murray, Buttercrane Centre Manager ensures Buttercrane’s forthcoming Wedding Fayre measures up to the high expectations of bride-to-be Rosalind Mackin from Newry, with the help of some finishing touches from Sharon Patterson, owner of Elody (Bridge Street, Newry), one of the shops who will be exhibiting in the fashion shows

On 13th and 20th April, Buttercrane will be hosting two days dedicated to putting fashion and style in the spotlight, with shows running on the hour from 1pm until 4pm.  Each day of fashion shows will have its own distinct angle.

Saturday 13th April will see the Buttercrane Centre host a Wedding Fayre where the public can amble through an array of exhibitors who will be displaying everything you need for such a special day, from cupcakes to cars.

To top it off you’ll also be treated to regular fashion shows of the best summer wedding fashions from Buttercrane’s stores throughout the afternoon. Buttercrane’s Beautiful Style Day will take place on Saturday 20th April in the shopping centre.

This is the day for all fashionistas to come along to avail of beauty tips, advice, samples and makeovers from a range of exhibitors. It is also recommended you grab a front row spot that afternoon to view the best summer fashions that will be taking to the catwalk each hour.

Peter Murray, Buttercrane Centre Manager; reminded the public, “On Saturday 13th April we’ll be on the look out for a Buttercrane Street Style winner. So ensure you get your photo taken in your most street cred outfit by our Street Style Spotters in the Mall who’ll be posting all of the images onto our Facebook page.

“The person who receives the most votes by 19th April will win a £100 Buttercrane Gift Card and goody bag, as well as the title.

“Then on the afternoon of Saturday 20th April we will be revealing and crowning the overall winner of our Face of Buttercrane, who’ll be walking away with a £200 Buttercrane Gift Card and the opportunity to star in many of our Centre’s fashion shows and photo shoots.

Peter added, “You will be able to see our three finalists amongst those competing in Newry Style City’s own Style Awards, so get voting.”
