Police appeal for witnesses to Mayobridge robbery

Police in South Down are appealing for information following two incidents where gates were stolen from fields.

Sometime between Sunday, 3rd March and Tuesday, 5th March two 14ft galvanised field gates were taken from a field on Desert Road, Mayobridge.

On Monday, 11th March it was reported that a gate had been stolen from a field on Newry Road, Mayobridge. It is believed this gate was taken some time over the previous week.

It is believed a vehicle would have been needed to transport these gates.

Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity, including people or vehicles, in these areas or anyone who has information in relation to these thefts to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
