Community, What's On
Sinn Féin Councillor Terry Hearty has urged all areas to be represented at the meeting in Crossmaglen community centre on Wednesday the 13th March at 7pm. Speaking to Newry Times, Councillor Hearty explained, “The meeting deals with all issues including drug and alcohol awareness, anti-social behaviour, noise monitoring and any other issues raised. “These meetings started over three years ago and have dealt with many issues. Representatives from the council’s Environmental Health, the Housing Executive, Fold Housing, the Drug and Alcohol Forum, elected representatives and the PSNI will be on hand to answer questions. “The meeting covers all of South Armagh and everyone is welcome to raise issues that can be ironed out. Don’t leave it to someone else, come along and represent your area. You will be very welcome,” he added.
