Fundraising for local youth festival kicks off

With a hugely successful launch in Kilbroney Park last Summer, Youth Fest NI 2012 saw thousands of local people attending what was Rostrevor’s first ever event of this scale designed specifically for young people.

Building on last year’s success the festival is back with a bang and the Youth Fest Team would like to invite everyone to come along to their first fundraising event.

As the festival is completely FREE the Youth Fest team, a group of young local professionals, have stacks of fundraising to do.

They would like to invite everyone in the community to support their first event which is an open information day and coffee morning in the Kilbroney Bar and Restaurant on Saturday 9th March between 10am-12noon.

There will be tea, coffee, some homemade sweet stuff and lots of cool raffle prizes up for grabs. The Youth Fest Team will also be on hand to talk about the festival and any questions you may have.

So come along from 10am – 12noon to find out what they do, why they’re doing it, and how you can be part of Newry and Mourne’s biggest festival for the youth of today.
