Fews area Sinn Féin Councillor Pat McGinn has praised the work of the Greater Cloughreagh Community Association. The local representative was speaking after attending the “Meet Your Neighbour” event hosted by the Community Association in Cloughreagh Community Centre. Speaking to Newry Times about the event, McGinn said, “This was a very well attended event which showcased some of the work that the Association is doing to help build community cohesion, confidence and self esteem within our area. “There was a marvellous display of talent from the young dancers and singers. I commend all involved who helped make sure the night was a wonderful community night of celebration and as someone who lives within the locality I urge anyone who wishes to help build on the good work of the committee and volunteers, to get involved.”
