Bicycle theft prompts police investigation

Police in Kilkeel are appealing for information following the theft of a bicycle from Blackford Mews. The dark grey Blackstar mountain bike was taken from outside a house some time between 7.30pm on Saturday, 16th February and 11.30am on Sunday, 17th February. The bike has a 26 inch frame and a front mudguard and the rear mudguard is broken off but the clips are still attached to the bike. Police are appealing to anyone who has information about the theft or whereabouts of the bicycle to contact them in Kilkeel on 0845 600 8000. If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
