House ransacked and safe stolen in burglary

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary in the Ardshean area. At 7.13pm on Tuesday, 12th February it was reported that a house had been entered and ransacked and a safe containing documents was taken. The safe was found in the Dromintee area the following day. Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity around the Ardshean area on Tuesday, 12th February, including unknown people or vehicles, to contact them in Newtownhamilton on 0845 600 8000.
