Police relaunch investigation into Barcroft child sex attack

Detectives from the Serious Crime Branch have relaunched an investigation into the attempted murder and serious sexual assault of an eight year old girl in Newry in 1994. The incident is believed to have happened close to Barcroft Community Centre on 10th June, 1994. Police have launched a fresh appeal for information and are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this attack, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact detectives on 028 38366274 / Ext 37337 / 37205 / 37206.
