‘Lost Warrenpoint tablets extremely dangerous’ – PSNI

Police in Warrenpoint are asking for the public’s assistance following the loss of prescription medication.

Sometime between 12.30pm and 1.30pm, a quantity of morphine tablets, wrapped in a chemist bag, were lost in Warrenpoint town centre. “These tablets can be extremely dangerous and harmful if taken without proper medical advice,” a PSNI spokesman said.

He added, “Police would ask anyone with information in relation to the missing medication to contact them in Warrenpoint on 0845 600 8000.

“Officers would also urge anyone who may come across this medication or who is offered medication of this nature for sale in suspicious circumstances to phone them or hand the medication in to your local police station.”
