BURSARIES:

Bursaries will be awarded in all Sections for classes identified by the Section leaders in consultation with the Committee. The bursaries, which will be awarded at the discretion of the adjudicator in each case, will not necessarily go to Class winners and are intended to promote advancement within the relevant discipline.

In 2012 links were established with the Lyric Theatre, Belfast and a number of their Summer School places were available as bursary awards in some Sections. This very successful connection with the Lyric Summer Schools is being maintained in 2013.

Those seeking clarification on this or any aspect of the 2013 Newry Musical Feis should check in to the Feis website or to Newry Musical Feis on Facebook where further details are available and general questions can be answered.
