Warm start for John Dalzell’s Hospice sit out
With the Winter season now in full swing the legendary John Dalzell MBE is getting suited and booted for the 21st year of his sit out for The Southern Area Hospice.
As temperatures are set to drop this year bringing wet and windy weather, the local community have been rallying together to keep John warm this Christmas.
A1 Safety and Workwear have kindly donated the thermal suit to John in a bid to keep him warm for what will be an exceptionally cold winter in the hope that his sit out will again raise substantial funds for the Southern Area Hospice this year.
Regional Marketing Officer for the Hospice, Sarah Colgan commented, “Every year John endures the cold weather to raise funds for the Hospice and it is wonderful to see local businesses and individuals giving a helping hand to John in his famous sit-out.
“I would like to thank A1 Safety and Workwear for their kind contribution and ask that everyone come out this year to keep John warm by showing their support for his sit out. We hope that this year will be just as successful as prior years with John having raised over £1 million to date.”
If you would like to make a donation to the John Dalzell Sit Out Appeal in aid of Southern Area Hospice Services please come down to his sit out on Hill Street which starts on Saturday 15th December or send your donation to: SOUTHERN AREA HOSPICE SERVICES, FREEPOST BEL 3833, NEWRY, BT34 2BR.
