Police launch investigation into Newry parochial house burglary

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary at a parochial house on the Dublin Road in Newry.

Around 5.15pm on Saturday, 3rd November, two males entered the premises and took two 32 inch flat screen televisions and a DVD player.

The two males made off with the items across the main Dublin Road and through the Drumalane Church car park in the direction of Drumalane Road.

It is believed the males were wearing hoodies and tracksuit bottoms.

Police believe the Dublin Road would have been busy at this time and are appealing to anyone who noticed two males carrying large televisions around this time to contact them at Ardmore Police Station on 0845 600 8000.

If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
