HMRC dismantle huge Crossmaglen illegal fuel plant
HMRC has revealed that a huge diesel fuel laundering plant has been dismantled in Crossmaglen today.
The plant, which is believed to be capable of producing over one million litres of illegal fuel each year, is estimated to be costing the HMRC nearly £700,000 in lost revenue.
In a joint operation between the PSNI and HMRC, officers removed more than two tonnes of toxic waste from a farm in the area and one man has been arrested and is assisting the PSNI and HMRC with their enquiries.
