Woman loses two teeth after Camlough Road assault

Police are appealing for information following an incident in the Green Road and Camlough Road areas of Bessbrook on Monday 29th October.

At approximately 7.45pm it was reported that three females aged 25, 16 and 15 had been assaulted in the area of Green Road.

The females were not seriously injured during the incident.

It was also reported that a group of youths surrounded a car on the Camlough Road and assaulted the female passenger. The female lost 2 teeth during the assault.

A 27 year old man was arrested and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or who has any information is asked to contact Police in Newtownhamilton on 0845 600 8000.
