PSNI launch investigation into Belfast Road theft

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the theft of a container from a car wash close to Sheepsbridge Inn, Belfast Road. Some time overnight between 7.30pm on Thursday, 18th October and 1.30am on Friday, 19th October, the 20ft by 8ft blue metal container was taken along with with four power washers and two tyre replacement machines. The container is very large and would require a truck or articulated vehicle with a crane to remove it. Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the container being removed or has information in relation to this to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
