PSNI charge man with burglary

Police in Newry have charged a 27 year old man with burglary to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on 7th November.

The charges relate to the report of a burglary in Quayside Close on 11th October when police stopped a car a short time later on Dublin Road and a copper tank was recovered and the car seized for no insurance.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
