Shall We Dance Academy announce Bessbrook dance classes
Shall We Dance? Newry has announced it will hold new beginners social dance classes in Bessbrook, starting on Friday 19th October 2012.

Shall We Dance? Newry was launched this year by local dancing supremos Gerald and Patricia Malone from Newry.
The couple announced the new Bessbrook classes hot on the heels of their beginners class in Mullabrack, which was deemed a huge success and is still running at present.
- Gerald and Patricia have won Ballroom and Latin American dancing competitions throughout the UK and Ireland so their experience has left the first batch of beginner dancers with some nifty moves to show off wherever they go.
The Newry duo, who have been dancing for over 25 years competitively and socially, boast All-Ireland honours amongst their impressive array of medals and trophies.
The Swing Jive, Slow Waltz and the Quickstep are three dances you will learn every Friday night in Bessbrook and all three dances are a great way to have fun and exercise in a friendly atmosphere.
Dancing is a great way to stay in shape and enjoy yourself but Gerald insists it is also a fantastic way to make new friends.
“We started dancing nearly 25 years ago and since then we have met so many amazing people and have forged life-long friendships with people from across the country.
He added, “Dancing is all about having fun and meeting new people so I think everybody will really enjoy our new Bessbrook classes, Patricia and I are really excited about it and the response so far has been unbelievable.”
The Newry-based couple are delighted with how their eagerly anticipated first social dance class has gone so far in Mullabrack.
“It has been fantastic,” insists Gerald. “The couples have enjoyed themselves tremendously. Some are there to learn the ‘first dance’ before they get married, others are there to enjoy the social element but all just really seem to be enjoying themselves.
The support and turn-out for their first dance class encouraged Gerald and Patricia to take it to Newry. Gerald added, “The next venue for our beginners class is in Bessbrook Community Centre, we’re really excited about it and we hope you will all come along and join the fun.”
Spaces for the classes are limited so it is advised you register your interest early to avoid disappointment.
