PSNI launch investigation after GAA football assault

Police in Newtownhamilton are appealing for information following an assault at a Gaelic football match at Silverbridge GAC on Tuesday, 14th August. During the match between Madden and Silverbridge, a 24 year old Madden GAC player was assaulted on the pitch and received an injury to his jaw which required medical treatment. Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information in relation to it to contact them at Newtownhamilton on 0845 600 8000.
