Brady attends McGuire Programme information event

Mickey Brady has attended an information evening hosted by the Mc Guire Programme Ireland.

The evening, which aimed to highlight and raise awareness on stammering, took place in Newry arts centre on Thursday 20th September 2012.

Workshops were designed for the need to be aware of and understand the psychological impact of the drivers of stammering and to complement existing knowledge of stammering behaviour.

Brady commented; “It was an informative event that expressed the difficulties that people with stammers face in their everyday lives.

“This programme helps people with stammers to communicate more effectively and therefore builds up their confidence that often can be affected.”
