Kearney calls for Ballyholland traffic calming measures

Councillor Peter Kearney has recently raised the issue of traffic problems coupled with potentialities for further accidents on the Betty’s Hill Road and surrounding areas of Ballyholland.

The Sinn Féin representative stated, “I am currently campaigning for the introduction of traffic calming measures for the Betty’s Hill Road area. The road, being quite busy, especially at peak times, was in some residents views, an accident waiting to happen.

“These concerns were validated on Tuesday the 11th of September when a traffic collision occurred on the road. I believe that if the appropriate traffic calming measures were implemented, it would go a long way to avoid any future instances of traffic collisions in the area.”
