Sinn Féin MLA’s Caitriona Ruane and Chris Hazzard have wished the Down Senior Camogs good luck in the All Ireland Final. Speaking to Newry Times, Ruane said, “I would like to wish the Down Senior Camogs all the best this Sunday in the All Ireland Final. This is another great achievement for the girls who have proven over the past few years that they are a great team.” “This endeavour is down to hard work by the girls and the entire management and training staff and they deserve to be in the final. Hazzard added, “I also wish the girls all the best for Sunday and hope they can replicate the success of the minors.  We recently held a reception for the Down Minor Camogs in the Assembly to celebrate their All Ireland win and we hope to be able to do likewise for the Senior panel after Sunday.
