PSNI seek witnesses to Mountain Road burglary

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary at a residential premises in the Mountain Road area on the afternoon of Thursday 12th July. Electrical items and jewellery were taken in the burglary and the police said they would be particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw a grey and white transit-type van in the vicinity between the hours of midday and 2.30pm. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Newtownhamilton Police Station on 0845 600 8000. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
