Newry PSNI appeal for information after hardware store burglary

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary at a hardware store on the evening of Wednesday 1st August.It is believed that the burglary occurred at approximately 11.40pm and a number of tools were stolen from the premises. It is also believed that a stolen fork-lift was used in an attempt to gain entry to another commercial premises but the attempt failed and the fork-lift was recovered the next morning.Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact CID in Ardmore Police Station on 0845 600 8000. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
