Man suffers broken nose after Monaghan Street assault

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of an assault in a car park in the Monaghan Street area of Newry on Sunday, 10th June.

At approximately 3.00am an unknown man got out of a white Peugeot 306 car and pushed another man to the ground and hit him in the face, with the injured man sustaining a broken nose.

The alleged assailant is described as in his early 20s, approximately 5’10” with broad shoulders.
