Prince’s Trust ‘Enterprise Programme’ coming to Newry
Have you ever wanted to start your own business but didn’t know where to get advice, who to speak to or what to do?
Well look no further than The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Programme, which offers support to young people aged between 18 – 30 who are unemployed or work less than 16 hours per week.
Those lucky enough to enroll in the programme will enjoy business skills training and business planning support and potential start-up loan funding of up to £4,000 for a sole trader and up to £5,000 for a partnership. In special circumstances grants up to £1,500 are available.
As well as this, candidates can also make use of up to 2 years support from a volunteer business mentor and get access to specialist support, including the Prince’s Trust free legal helpline.
For those who start a business, access to a wide range of free and discounted products/services is also available.
The programme takes place on the following dates:
7th June 2012 at 3.30pm in Newry Library (Hill Street, Newry) – Enterprise Programme Information Session
11th June 2012 at 10:00am – 4:00pm in Newry Library (Hill Street, Newry) – Four day Explore Enterprise Course
