‘Expect traffic disruption during Newry marathon’ – PSNI

Police in Newry are warning of traffic disruption in the Newry City area on Sunday, 3rd June as the Newry City Marathon takes place. Traffic diversions will be in operation throughout Newry City Centre and Tandragee Road between 8.30am and 4pm. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes where possible.

Motorists are advised of traffic delays in the area of Glenn, Newry on Sunday, 3th June, from 10.30am as the Newry Wheeler’s Cycle Race takes place.
Police in Newry are also warning motorists of traffic disruption in Kilkeel Town Centre due to a church parade to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee on Sunday, 3 June. The parade will take place from 3pm to 5.30pm. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Motorists in the Kilkeel area should expect traffic disruption on Monday, 4 June, as a parade and fireworks display to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee takes place between 6pm and 11pm. Motorists are advised to avoid the areas of Knockchree Avenue, Manse Road and Mourne Esplanade.
