Irish Champion Eugene McKeever (St Malachy’s), Irish Finalists Allan White (St Brigids), Fergus Quinn and Paddy Falloon (Camlough) will also be in the St Bronagh’s squad.

Coach Gavin Dougan spoke to the Newry Times Sports Desk and said, “The Ennis Co. Clare team will have a strong line-up with a host of Irish Champions so it promises to be a stern test for the local lads. My boxers have worked hard all season so it will be a great weekend to round off the year and mix with other local clubs from Newry and Clare.”

Gavin stated that there will also be a host of other sports groups from the area attending the event including Windmill Stars youth team. The project is in conjunction with Newry and Mourne District Council running from Friday until Sunday. The buses leave Newry City Hall at 9.30am on Friday morning and it promises to be a great weekend, not just for the sports but also there are a host of activities set up for the children to make it a memorable weekend.
