Police charge man after £11,000 drugs haul in Newry
A 56 year old man has been charged with a number of drug offences after Police in Newry uncovered a quantity of cannabis plants.
The PSNI seized the cannabis plants – believed to have an estimated street value of more than £11,000 – after searching a house in the Ballykeel area of the city.
The man is currently assisting police with their enquiries at Armagh police station and is due to appear at Newry Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 13th June. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
