Police appeal for witnesses following Camlough assault

Police in Bessbrook are appealing for information following the report of an assault in the Quarter Road area of Camlough on Friday 27th April. It is believed that following a collision between two vehicles near the entrance to St Patrick’s Park between 12 and 1pm, an altercation took place and a man was assaulted. Police would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact them at Bessbrook on 0845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111
