The SEED (South East Economic Development) consortium of Councils have launched their annual business awards and local businesses in the Newry and Mourne area are encouraged to take part. The awards are designed to reward and recognise the most innovative and successful businesses across the Council areas which includes Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon as well as Newry and Mourne.
The awards, which are part funded by the European Regional Development Fund under the European Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland, are split into different categories, with locals in Newry and Mourne competing for the Newry & Mourne Business Champion accolade.
