‘BBC Experience’ set for Newry Library

The BBC have this week announced that Newry Library will host the ‘BBC Experience’, which is part of a series of road show events taking place throughout Northern Ireland. The event will be open at both 10am and 1pm on Tuesday 24th April.

The BBC announced that several activities will take place, including a live broadcast from BBC Radio Ulster’s Hugo Duncan, “We’ll have an outside broadcast with BBC Radio Ulster’s Hugo Duncan and there’ll be lots of interactive activities and displays. Visitors will have the opportunity to get involved in newsreading, jingle making and a radio drama.”

“We’ll also be showcasing some of the latest digital technology and will have information about the work of the BBC’s local Audience Council, BBC Shows and Tours and Digital UK. And to add to this, we’ll have some famous faces, sounds and pictures from the past in a special BBC Community Archive display.”
