Newry City u16s, Meet the Players- Ryan Quinn

Newry Times recently caught up with Newry City Under 16s midfielder Ryan Quinn. Ryan has recently made a great starting impact on the team and has also enjoyed a leading role and starting place in the U-16 team. To find out a little more about him see below:

 Name: Ryan Quinn.

Age: 15.

Position: Central midfield.

Previous clubs: Bessbrook United.

Greatest achievement so far in your career? Playing against Norwich.

Best player you have played against? Christopher McMahon.

Best ground you have played in? Solitude.

Do you support any English clubs? Liverpool.

What club would you like to play for in the future?

I would love to have the opportunity to play for the Newry City first team in the Premier League.

What is one thing that you enjoy while playing football? Playing good football.

What inspires you to play football? Achieving success.

Who has been the biggest influence in your career so far? John Feehan and the boss Mourinho (Ryan McConville).

What brought you to play for Newry? John Feehan brought me to Newry from Bessbrook United and I am very grateful for the chances I have got and the training I have received.

Who is the biggest joker in the team? Lenny (Connor Lenaghan), you want to hear some of the stuff he comes out with!

Who is the best trainer at the club? Without doubt Jordan King!

And finally…What’s your favourite thing about playing for Newry? It’s my local club and I have the opportunity to play good football with my mates.
