Three arrested in Newry on suspicion of theft

Police in Newry have arrested three males on suspicion of theft and possession of articles for use in fraud. Police received a report of three males acting suspiciously in gaming premises at Basin Walk around 5.45pm on Thursday 9th February. Officers attended and seized a battery powered device, battery pack and sum of cash.

Documents were also seized during a subsequent search of a car. A 33 year old male, 37 year old male and 41 year old male were arrested at the scene and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
