Police reissue appeal for witnesses to Hilltown Road collision

Police in Newry are reissuing their appeal for information following a two vehicle road traffic collision on the Hilltown Road on Monday 30th January. The collision, involving a white Rover 220 and silver Alfa Romeo, occurred around 6.30am, around 150m from the Leode Road junction on the Hilltown side. A 23 year old male was taken to hospital and his condition is described as critical. Four other males, two aged 21, a 24 year old and a 34 year old, were also injured however their injuries were not life threatening. Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has information in relation to this incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
