Police seek witnesses to Mountnorris incident

Police in Bessbrook are appealing for information following an incident on the Lisnalee Road, Mountnorris on Sunday 5th February.

Around 4.35am police on patrol stopped a red Seat on the Lisnalee Road. The car drove off as police approached it. Police observed the car travel towards Bessbrook/Lisnalee junction before turning right.

The car was found abandoned at Lisnalee Park. A 19 year old male was arrested and later released on bail pending further enquiries. Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the car being driven or abandoned or has information in relation to this incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
