Some of our members are currently working on producing a club website which shall be launched in the near future. If anyone has info or photos both old and new that could be used please email them to Kieran O’Hare at kohbeetle@gmail.com thanking you in anticipation.

The clothing bin at the playing fields has been emptied and will accept all items of clothing, handbags, footwear and bed linen but not duvet’s.

Any person wishing to take part in Scor Sinsear this year should give their names to Paddy McCrickard, Donna Rogan or Seamus O’Hanlon as soon as possible.

Child Protection Course Friday 3rd February from 7.00pm – 9.00pm: Anyone wishing to do this course please contact Seamus O’Hanlon.

Foundation Level Coaching Course Saturday 4th February 9.15am – 4.00pm: Anyone wishing to do this course please contact Seamus O’Hanlon.

Any juvenile member of the club that would like to take part in a young whistler’s course to be run in late February-early March should contact Seamus O’Hanlon. This course entitles young lads or girls to referee primary school and Go Games matches, blitzes and tournaments. We are not going to force anyone that does this course to referee outside of the club and even if you have no intention of refereeing you should sign up for it as if for no other reason you shall learn the rules of the game. How many of you have ever seen a rule book?

Love them, or hate them there’d be no games without them. Currently the County are preparing to train new Football, Hurling and Ladies Football referees. This is an entirely different course from the young whistlers’ course and is for anyone that would like to try refereeing and see if they can improve the standards of our games. Anyone interested should contact any committee member.

It is hoped to form a running club within the parish and anyone interested in joining should contact John A McEvoy 07753639696.
