Information needed following burglary in Camlough

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary in the Newry Road area of Camlough.
Around 5.50pm on Thursday, 5 January, the residents of a house on Newry Road returned home and disturbed two males inside their house. One of the males had a knife in his possession. The two intruders made off in the direction of Camlough village with a quantity of cash (sterling and euro) and gold jewellery.

The first male is described as being approximately 20 years old, 5ft 5in tall with a pock marked facial complexion and red, wavy hair. He was wearing a dark anorak type jacket. The second male is described as similar to his accomplice but with dark hair.

Police are appealing to anyone who observed the males entering or leaving the house or in the general vicinity of Newry Road between 5pm and 5.55pm to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
