Sinn Fein councillor’s son appointed as Labour advisor
Connor McGinn, son of Sinn Fein councillor has been appointed the political advisor to the shadow Northern Ireland secretary Vernon Croaker.
The former Bessbrook man, 27, now lives in London. He isĀ is a member of the national executive of the Labour Party and of the Fabian Society. In his role as political advisor McGinn will advise the Shadow Secretary on issues concerning Northern Irish politics and security.
In a short statement Mr McGinn said he was delighted and was hoping to continue Labour’s contribution to the peace and political process in Northern Ireland.
