Community, What's On

People across Northern Ireland are being called on by SuperValu to nominate their local SuperStars as part of a major new campaign to uncover our most inspirational individuals.

Due to a great response, SuperValu is extending the deadline until 31st August, 2017, so there is still time to let SuperValu know about your local SuperStar.

The new SuperValu SuperStars initiative will honour mums and dads, inspirational young people, grannies and granddads, neighbours and friends, volunteers and carers, who have gone out of their way to help others and who bring about positive change in the places they live.

Stephen Bogle, SuperValu Brand Manager, said, “The response from the public has been brilliant so far and as people are still coming forward with their inspirational stories we decided to extend the deadline to 31st August.  The SuperStars we are hearing about are truly incredible and we’re honoured to be able recognise and celebrate the impact they’ve made in their local communities.”

SuperValu want to find 36 SuperStars across every county in Northern Ireland who will be invited to Parliament Buildings, Stormont, where the overall winner will be announced on 22nd November.

Nominate your local SuperValu SuperStars by visiting www.supervalu.co.uk, fill in an online form and SuperValu could be in touch. Anyone can nominate, including yourself, with the winner receiving a fantastic 5 star holiday and all finalists will be presented with SuperValu shopping vouchers.

To enter SuperValu SuperStars simply nominate online via www.supervalu.co.uk or www.facebook.com/SuperValuNI and describe what makes your nominee inspirational and worthy of the SuperStars title.
