Police hunt two men who fled towards Hilltown after burglary

psni49Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary of commercial premises.

The burglary took place on the Bog Road in Attical outside Kilkeel.


 

Speaking to Newry Times, Inspector Graham said, β€œIt was reported that around 3:45am on Tuesday, 4th April two males forced entry to the premises and stole a sum of cash before making off in a silver saloon vehicle towards the Hilltown area.

25th March 2017“The males were described as being 5’10” thin and wearing hats. One of the males appears to have been walking with a limp; it is believed he was wearing tracksuit bottoms,” he continued.


 

“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity or may have seen a silver vehicle or a white van or any other suspicious vehicles which may have been in the area to contact 101 quoting reference 97 04/04/2017.


 

“Further, if anyone observed a silver car in the area of Spelga Dam, and any males on foot in the area overnight, to contact police likewise.
