‘Positive announcement’ on Daisy Hill Hospital welcomed

Daisy Hill 5Sinn Féin’s Conor Murphy has welcomed confirmation from Health Minister Michelle O’Neill that Daisy Hill Hospital will be a key part of the acute hospital infrastructure.
  Speaking to Newry Times, Murphy said, “I invited my party colleague and health minister Michelle O’Neill to Daisy Hill hospital and I was delighted to welcome her to the hospital alongside Megan Fearon.

Jan End 2017“During the visit Minister O’Neill confirmed that Daisy Hill will be part of the acute hospital infrastructure in the future, which is great news for the local area.
  “This confirmation ensures that Daisy Hill will continue to deliver a first-class service to the local community.
  He added, “The heath minister also visited the hospital’s emergency department and had a very positive meeting with more than 60 members of staff to update them on the transformation of the health service.”
