Newry police find ‘suspected heroin’ in man’s underwear

psni newryPolice in Newry have arrested a man after they found ‘suspected heroin’ in his underwear. On the PSNI Newry & Mourne Facebook page, police said that Tactical Support Group (TSG) were performing anti crime patrols in the Newry area when the suspected drugs were found.
  Officers stopped a vehicle due to the suspicious behaviour of the occupants.

Jan End 2017TSG officers conducted a search of the vehicle and occupants under the Misuse of Drugs.
  An item was found in the underwear of the driver.
  This person was arrested and early tests suggest the item found was Heroin.
