Traffic delays expected in Newry this weekend

Motorists are advised of anticipated disruption in the Newry area this weekend. trafficOn Friday 26th August, a parade is due to take place at Belfast Road and Rathfriland Road in Newry, between 7.15pm and 10.30pm. Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and find an alternative route. On Saturday 27th August, feeder parades are due to take place between the Downshire Road and bus station in Newry from approximately 9.15am to 9.45am and 6pm to 7pm. Motorists should expect delays in these areas at these times.

July 2016Then on Sunday 28th August, the Newry triathlon is due to take place between 7.30am and 2pm approximately. Diversions will be in place however motorists should expect delays and allow extra time for their journey.
