Newry police appeal after spate of local burglaries

A number of residential and commercial premises have been targeted in a series of burglaries today in the Rostrevor, Hilltown, Newry and Warrenpoint areas. psni57Local police said their enquiries are ongoing and they are appealing to anyone in any of these areas who may have noticed any suspicious activity at any time today to contact them immediately on 101 with information. Alternatively if anyone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111. Taking just a few practical steps can make a big difference and help secure your home and family.
